EYELID

With MC, ch 2. Work from ** to ** as given for Eye. Fasten off.

Finishing

Insert Eye into Eyelid. Sew each Eye to body of Octopus as shown in photo. Stuff Head. Join Bottom to Head: Align Tentacles of Head with Tentacles of Bottom. With WS of Head Tentacles and WS of Bottom Tentacles facing each other, join B with sl st at beg of Tentacle at longer side. Working through both thicknesses, work 1 sc in each st along longer sides of Tentacle to turning ch 1. Fasten off. With A, sew shorter sides of Tentacle (noting Tentacle will curl by itself). Rep for all Tentacles. Sew Eyes in position, as shown in photo.
